The central coast of California is truly a paradise to live and work in. Below are
links to some of the people and places that the staff of 2G Roses feel make this a great place!
- Monterey Bay has some great beaches
and is designated a National Marine Sanctuary
- Cruzio is not only our local ISP but one with an actual
conscience. They waive a late payment if you donate canned goods to the local food pantry.
- Santa Cruz Sports Central Gymnastics is a
fantastic state of the art facility in Santa Cruz. Watching the athletes twist and tumble
safely into the foam pits is truly inspiring!
- The Forest of Nisene Marks.
Hiking and mountain biking in Nisene Marks is awesome. Take a look at some great pictures
of the forest, which has regenerated from clear cutting from 1883 to 1920.
- The Soquel Demonstration Forest
is a beautiful redwood forest where environmentalists, mountain bikers, hikers, equestrians and
logging companies actually get along!
- Watsonville Fly In. If you are in town
during Memorial Day, be sure to check out our antique fly in.
- Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. California's
oldest amusement park it runs parallel to the main beach in Santa Cruz.
- Sea Otter Classic Bicycle Festival. This event
is held at Laguna Seca, in the hills above Monterey. Even if you don't ride, watching the events
that include dual slalom downhill and "Big Air" jumps is serious entertainment!
- Brightweddingideas.com While not a
central coast company, the list of marriage tips is truly worth looking at, especially during the wedding
planning phases!
- Brushed by Tammypi A local horse lover who performs custom airbrushing of clothes and equine products
- National Bike to Work Month Links to many local events across the country. Get some exercise, reduce air pollution and most importantly, reduce our dependence on oil
- Pixels Worth Seeing The website of my young son
